Since September 2021, The Turk’s Head has had its very own micro-brewery!

You’ll find our brews on both bars, including our flagship IPA, Fat Boy, which was one of our first experiments and now a legendary tipple.

Not sure what to drink? Don’t worry, we’ll guide you through our latest brews and if you still can’t choose, we’ll offer you a tasting board of 3 delicious beers to sip, gulp and glug.

If you’re lucky and the tank room is available, the team can give you a peek inside, to see where the beers are made.

Our beers

Explore our signature brews, showcasing the finest ales crafted on-site at The Turk's Head. Each pint, from hoppy IPAs to rich stouts, embodies our dedication to brewing artistry.

The hops in this beer change depending one what Australian hops we can get our hands on. Enigma, galaxy, eclipse, ella and vic secret are the usual suspects.

this Altbier reflects it's German base malts which contribute to its rich baked bread aroma

This beer is mashed at 63C to give a light, crisp body.

Carry on Milkman

Milk Stout, 5.9% (keg)

I listened to a song called The Milkman, so kept note for when I made a milk stout. This stout is mashed at a high temperature of 68 degrees, this produces longer chain sugars that are not as easily fermentable by the yeast. This results in more sugar being left behind after fermentation, leaving you with a fuller bodied beer and a higher final gravity. The lactose added during the liquoring back phase of the brew imports sweet flavours and a more rounded mouthfeel. Whereas the coffee and cacao nibs add extra depth and flavour to the stout.

Brewery experience days

Ever fancied yourself as a brewer? Well now you can put yourself to the test with our incredible Brewery Experience Day.

Kick off the day with breakfast and introductions with our head brewer Tilly, followed by a complete brew day, from start to finish – with lunch included of course!

Topped off with a few well-deserved pints at the end, this truly is a fantastic opportunity for any beer enthusiast.

£75 for the first person and only £50 for any others joining.
